Juniors


Hilton Park Golf Club has an established Junior Section which provides access to PGA tuition and competitions.The Junior Section is co-ordinated by the Junior Organiser with support from volunteers and parent helpers.

Coaching sessions, with Stewart Percy (Assistant Professional), will be available throughout the year 

Days and times will be advised by Stewart during the year.

A calendar of events will be published before the start of the season.

Strokeplay competitions for players with handicaps.

Matchplay competitions throughout the season.

Team competitions against other local clubs.

SKILLS CHALLENGE

A set of short game skills challenges.

Our best players could qualify for the national finals.

SAFEGOLF

We are working to renew our accreditation with Scottish Golf to confirm that we meet Scottish Golf’s standards to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR 2025

  • Cadet Membership (<10): - £ 62.00
  • Juvenile Membership (10 to <13): - £ 92.00
  • Junior Membership (13 to <18): - £122.00

Children up to age of 12 inclusive have free membership if they have a parent, guardian or adult relative who is a playing member.

 


GolfSixes

We will play in a mini-league with other local clubs. The clubs and dates have yet to be finalised - dates are usually Sunday afternoons in term time.  A game in April, May, June & August. Details to be advised via the WhatsApp Chat.

The format is a Texas scramble played in pairs over 6 holes. Totals from each game are added up and points awarded for each fixture. At the end of the series of games, the club with the highest points will go forward to the national finals.


Flag Challenge

A series of fun events where players have a set number of shots and place their flag when they reach the end of their allocated shots. Winner is the boy or girl who gets the furthest.
