Juniors
Hilton Park Golf Club has an established Junior Section which provides access to PGA tuition and competitions.
The Junior Section is co-ordinated by the Assistant Professional and overseen by the Head PGA Professional/Club Officials, with support from volunteers and parent helpers.
The promotion of golf taster sessions, delivered to primary school children and beginner golfers by the Assistant Professional, has identified a need to provide further opportunities for engagement and tuition.
This has led to the creation of a Junior Golf Academy. The Academy will provide coaching opportunities outwith membership of Hilton Park Golf Club with the aim of encouraging attendees to join the Junior Golf Section. The Academy will also support the development of current Junior Members.
ACTIVITIES FOR ALL JUNIORS
Saturday coaching sessions with Stewart Percy (Assistant Professional).
Saturdays at 1pm. Book place with Stewart Percy in the Pro Shop.
Additional activity out on the courses as per dates and times booked in the Club Diary. Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays. 9 /18 holes to suit.
Cards to mark. Competitions to play.
ACTIVITIES FOR PLAYERS WITH HANDICAPS
We will play a series of inter-club matches against other teams.
Dates will be advised through the WhatsApp chat but for planning purposes they tend to be Fridays in June around 5:30 pm.
SKILLS CHALLENGE
A set of short game skills challenges. Dates will be fixed up and advised through the WhatsApp chat.
Our best players could qualify for the national finals.

Children up to age of 12 inclusive have free membership if they have a parent, guardian or adult relative who is a playing member.
ACTIVITIES FOR UNDER 13s
GolfSixes
We will play in a mini-league with other local clubs. The clubs and dates have yet to be finalised - dates are usually Sunday afternoons in term time. A game in April, May, June & August. Details to be advised via the WhatsApp Chat.
The format is a Texas scramble played in pairs over 6 holes. Totals from each game are added up and points awarded for each fixture. At the end of the series of games, the club with the highest points will go forward to the national finals.
ACTIVITIES FOR UNDER 13'S
Flag Challenge
A series of fun events where players have a set number of shots and place their flag when they reach the end of their allocated shots. Winner is the boy or girl who gets the furthest.
Dates for our events and the regional event will be arranged before the season starts.
