I joined Hilton Park in 2023 shortly after relocating to Glasgow. I first played HP as a visitor and the friendly reception from the staff in the Pro shop was a great initial impression. The Hilton Course proved a fine challenge with its variety of holes and superb views further added to the enjoyment of the round. In the clubhouse after refreshments one of the ladies graciously took time to give me information about the Ladies section. My verdict on the day - a choice of 2 courses to play, comfortable clubhouse with good catering and a friendly atmosphere throughout - I had no hesitation and signed up for membership.

The Ladies section run a range of competitions suitable for golfers of any handicap and whether an established player or a beginner there’s something for all both on and off the course at HP.

As my home course had been closed for four successive days due to water logging I was invited to play the Hilton Course as a guest recently. Hilton Park had remained open and has stood up to the frequent deluges remarkably well with most fairways remaining firm and dry. A huge amount of work has been carried out on drainage and this has obviously paid dividends. Also, due to the ongoing work to widen the fairways and remove areas of heavy rough, it is now much easier to find your wayward ball! Pace of play is much improved as a result. It remains a challenging test of golf, but now much fairer for golfers of all abilities. Add to that the outstanding natural beauty of the course and its surroundings, plus the fine views from the clubhouse and you have a golfing package that is difficult to beat.

Played Hilton Park 22nd September, it absolutely chucked it down, but that didn’t dampen our spirit. What a fabulous course, clubhouse & staff. As for the scenery, it was stunning, a must see for any golfer, defo be back.

I had the good fortune of playing Hilton Park with 3 friends, a couple of weeks ago, during a trip to Scotland. The Pro was most helpful and welcoming. We played the Hilton Course and I could not believe how dry it was after what seemed like a monsoon had hit the area the day before. The course is a hidden gem...a picturesque stunner and a fine challenge. It is rare that I play on greens that compare to my own course. But I did just that at Hilton Park. The greens were in excellent condition...really superb. The 17th and 18th holes are as pleasant a finish to a round of golf that one could wish for. I can't wait to go back next year.

If you are here on a golfing break then look no further than this place...it's a little out of the way and slap bang in the middle of the countryside.The views are superb and the course is pristine...good food can also be had here and the club always make you feel welcome....cracking good pint to round off your days exertions....give it a go and have a great day out.

The bunkers were all raked well and the greens were in impeccable condition. Stunning Clubhouse with great facilities and great service.
