A great win for a team of local players Derek Hemphill and Patrick McCamley along with Windyhill’s Colin Mitten who shot a net 55.5. Another local team of Hugh Clark, Crawford Cumming and Colin Cammidge won the scratch prize with a 63 thanks to a better inward half.

A full list of the prize winners is in the Open Competitions section of our website here

A total entry of 40 teams saw 120 players enjoy a great day over the Allander course. Fortunately the weather just about held up until the end with many players being complementary about the greens and the bar and catering service.

The Ladies Open Tri-am was held at the club on the 6th June.
On another beautiful day, 102 Ladies from a variety of locations headed to Hilton Park for the Ladies Tri-am. The course was in fabulous condition with a huge run on the ball resulting in great scores. A trio from Helensburgh were the winners and amongst the other prize winners, were competitors from as far away as Dumfries.
A great day and many compliments have been received. Our raffle was for Teenage Cancer Trust and we raised a fantastic total of £697.20.

Two of the winning trio are pictured below.
