What an amazing day the St Margaret’s Hospice Charity day was! A huge thank you to all our members who participated in the day both playing, donating and having fun and laughter while raising money for this worthwhile cause.
A grand total of £4,300 was raised on the day.
The Greenkeepers not only set the course up but added an extra challenge at the 10th hole. You were absolutely fabulous Stuart and your team. You added so much fun and laughter too the day. An extra special thank you.
Again many thanks to everyone for their help, gifts and donations This truly was an all member occasion and without everyone’s input we would never have raised this wonderful amount. Just too many people to thank individually - so it’s a huge thank you to you all.

The prizes were won by:
1st Prize – 4 ball voucher at the Carrick - Tracy McColgan, Martine Morrison, Elaine Clark & Jo Cammidge with 90 points
2nd Prize - 4 ball voucher at Buchanan Castle – Alan Auld, Jamie Murphy, Jim Murphy and Andy Wilson with 87 Point (BOH)
3rd – Prize 4 ball voucher at Kingsfield Golf – Robert Gordon, Johnathan Bland, Allan Winter and James Traynor with 87 points (BIH)
Nearest the Pin at the 7th hole – Ladies – Pat Syme
Longest drive at the 12th hole – Gents – John Junor

Fancy Dress
1st - The Double Gin & Tonic team - Jannette Falconer, Helen Inglis, Marilyn Taggart & Jude Gregor – a voucher for £100 kindly donated by chef Jamie of Function 44 at HP
2nd Prize – the Ascot ladies – Fiona Nicolson, Diane Baldwin, Norma Choat and Elspeth McLaren – 4 bottles of wine.
The Football Squares poster started at the Ladies Invitation day was also drawn on the day.
1st Prize - £100 Cash. Team Derby City – picked by Natalie
2nd Prize – Bottle of Whisky. Team Sevilla - picked by Daniel Cryan
3rd Prize – Bottle of wine. Team Hull City – picked by Gillian Cowell
Prizes for the above and the silent auction are all behind the bar.
Finally we had the opportunity to present the beautiful handmade quilt for Joan to her husband John Bankier and their daughters on the day.
