Why choose Hilton Park

12 fantastic reasons to hold your golf day at Hilton Park Golf Club

1. We welcome Societies and Corporate Groups with open arms !

Some golf clubs don’t like to host societies and golf outings, and generally make them feel unwelcome. Hilton Park couldn’t be more different. We’re proud of our club and we love to share it with visitors. The way we see it, when you visit us, you’re a member for the day!
We’re happy to look after groups at weekdays as well as the weekend; including Saturdays! Our experienced staff ensures that from booking your golf day until final putt has dropped, we’ll be on hand to take the stress out of organising a successful outing for your group.

2. Create your own package

With a long history of providing successful golf days, we know by now that not everyone wants to just pick what is put in front of them. You might have some great ideas for your golf day, and we want to help you make them reality. Simply contact our Head PGA Professional, who will help you create your bespoke golf day.

3. Two courses provides plenty of variety and ease of booking

We very proud of our two 18-hole courses; both designed by 5-time Open Champion, James Braid. They each have their own character, providing a good test for skilled players, but also not thoughtlessly long or tricky so all abilities can enjoy their day at HPGC. The bonus of having two courses means it’s far easier for us to host visiting parties and get you the times you prefer- even at the weekends.

4. The views across our courses are breathtaking

The scenery must be seen to be believed! As you make your way around our courses, you can admire beautiful views to the Trossachs and Ben Lomond, and see for miles across the south of the city. If you’re fortunate to be here late on a summer’s evening, the sunset against the Kilpatrick Hills is truly stunning.

5. Perfect location and easy to get to

Hilton Park is only 20 minutes drive from Glasgow city centre, or from Glasgow Airport. Once you see the views, you won’t believe we’re so close to the city! Unlike some golf clubs where you have to scale mountains just to find them, we’re only 3 miles from the local communities of Milngavie and Bearsden, and 8 miles from Glasgow city centre. If you need help finding a reputable coach company to save the hassle of driving, get in touch and we’ll be happy to assist you.

6. On-course competitions are a must !

Any successful golf outing must have an extra dimension to the regular competition, and on-course mini-competitions are just the ticket. We’re fortunate to have a great selection of holes to suit longest drives and nearest the pins. Better still, you can get up to four on-course markers for free when you book your golf day with us! Let us know before the day, and we’ll have them made up ready for your game.

7. Fully stocked Professional Shop

Our Professionals run their shop with passion and fun in mind. Stocking top brands at always competitive prizes, it’s the perfect place to pick your prizes for your golf day. 8. Courses that hold their own

The club has invested considerable funds over the last decade to enhance the playability across both courses, with particular focus on adding extensive drainage to all of our 36 greens. The result is that courses that can put up with a lot of wet weather, and drain faster than before. We’re often open when other courses are closed, which shows how resilient the courses have become.

Our PGA Professionals are very much part of the club, and are on hand to look after you during your visit. As our in-house golf experts, they’re delighted to offer a number of golf services such as coaching and custom-fitting, and are always happy to share advice about the courses and the right lines off the tee.

10. Its no problem to stay nearby

You have the best of both worlds if you’re keen to stay near the club. We have B&B’s and country hotels just a few miles away, and you’re only 20 minutes drive from Glasgow should you fancy experiencing the city after your day up at the club.
